I believe that the Bible is true, that Jesus is God, and that his death on the cross was a powerful sacrifice. Jesus later defeated death and came back to life, which means that we can do this as well, if only we have faith in the power of his ultimate sacrifice on the cross to erase our various disobediences/sins against God. With our sins being erased, we can be in Heaven with God. This is my faith in God. As a result of believing all of this, there should be some change in a person’s life – any other truly held belief results in action, and so why should this belief/faith be any different? And this is faith in God – that’s huge! But that action/change is different for everyone – people can still be “who they are” and have faith in God.
