You need not believe the entire Bible, though many do. But, it is the most accurate document of ancient history that is available today. It takes far more FAITH to believe otherwise. Archaeology has corroborated it, other ancient documents agree with it, and anyone who would try to say it’s only a nice story must explain why different authors of the Bible would endanger its credibility by sharing, at times, differing valid viewpoints of the same historical events. Take it for the source of history it is, if for nothing else.
