Some opponents claim that Jesus swooned, or never really died. Illogically, they expect us to have faith that Roman soldiers wouldn’t notice Jesus still breathing; and, that Jesus (after being crucified for several hours) could survive having a spear thrust into his side! Records indicate that Jesus actually died relatively quickly on his cross due to the blood loss from the whippings and the crown of thorns beforehand, which is why a spear was thrust into his side, to confirm his death! Yet some still believe he swooned BY FAITH.
