This archaeological discovery helped confirm that the Bible we have today is genuine. Go look it up wherever you like. Chapter 53 of the book of Isaiah has only 17 letters that are in dispute between today’s version, and the version in the Dead Sea Scrolls. What’s more, the scrolls were carbon-dated back to the 2nd century BC – 200 years before Christ. This is significant because the 5th verse of that chapter describes someone who can, in history, only be Jesus Christ. And while this is not the only example of prophecy about Jesus, it is in my opinion the best one.
