AD BC

BC means “Before Christ” and AD means “in the year of our Lord.” Obviously these two nearly universal terms have their root in Jesus Christ. From that same time period we have the dominant Roman Empire, and its people and leaders; and yet, timelines are based on a random Jewish guy from that era? This is because his life was as far from random and ordinary as a life can be. It doesn’t prove that he was God, but it does help confirm he wasn’t ordinary. If the Bible were not true, would we, in modern times, still use this methodology to describe history?
